ESAO Wichtig Award

The Annual ESAO Wichtig Award of 2500 Euros is the most prominent award of the ESAO. It is aimed at encouraging young scientists (younger than 38 years) working in the field of artificial organ research. This award is based on the best peer-reviewed publication which will be briefly presented following the Award ceremony which will take place during the closing ceremony. A call for submission was available on the ESAO web-site and in the International Journal for Artificial Organs. The ESAO would like to thank Wichtig Editore for sponsoring  this award.

ESAO Poster Awards

Three Poster Awards (500, 300 and 200 Euros) will be given to the authors of the best posters, based on scientific content and presentation, selected by a special committee. Awards will be presented during the closing ceremony (Saturday, 5 September 2009).

ESAO Innovation Award

An Award of 500 Euros will be dedicated to the most innovative abstract presented. The selection will be made by a jury, based on abstract content and presentation. The award will be presented during the closing ceremony (Saturday, 5 September 2009).
