Scientists in the COSTECH research unit have developed an original approach to situated and distributed knowledge, whether it be precise or fuzzy. It approaches knowledge from its very creation, formalization, and memorization, and during its individual, shared or collective use.
Half the PhD students come from life sciences and the other half from humanities and social sciences, some of them having professional experience.
Many students prepare a thesis at the university or within a company, while others are involved in the organization of cognition and cooperation within private or public organizations.
