Formulated product engineering

The objective of the Fomulated Product Engineering specialization is to provide our students the required knowledge to design and formulate products with specific end-use properties (for instance in paints, cosmetics, controlled drug delivery, agrochemicals, detergency …).

The program, which is strongly multidisciplinary, is related to the fields of physical-chemistry, chemical engineering and biotechnology, and is based on a multiscale approach, going from the molecular properties, and mixing technologies to the final product properties. Emphasis is given to the incorporation of biomolecules issued from renewable agriculture resources. Formed specialists will be able to integrate private companies, research institutions, and may also follow PhD studies.

This program involves faculty of the Department of Industrial Process Engineering (UTC), and of our partners UPJV and ESCOM. In addition, conferences are given by industry professionals.

The cursus will be held on the UPJV campus for the first semester (M1S1), and on the UTC campus for the following semesters (M1S2 and M2).
