The speciality covers the software aspects of autonomous technological systems, which are interacting. Examples of such systems are, intelligent vehicles that can communicate, a flotilla of small UAVs, or networks of transducers that can exchange information in real-time. The global system, which results from the association of these complex and heterogeneous systems, is a technological system of systems (TSoS) as meant by the Labex MS2T
The constituent systems implement capacities of perception, communication, learning, decision, and action, while interacting each other and with their environment. They must also deal with numerous uncertain sources, which may lower their performances and consequently lower the overall functioning of the TSoS.
| To design, study and implement such complex systems the student must be familiar with the system-based approaches and must have a strong background in information and systems technologies, particularly in : |
- optimisation and operational research,
- safety, supervision, monitoring,
- data analysis and fusion, machine learning
- automatic, dynamic systems modelling, state observation,
- robot command and navigation,
- perception, vision,
- distributed systems and networks
