Non French speaking student

You are a non French speaking student

and you want to study for a UTC Engineering degree, a Master of Science or a PhD.

French engineering degree (5 years duration)

The curriculum for non-French-speaking foreign students is identical to that of French students studying for a UTC Engineering degree. In France an engineering degree takes 5 years and is equivalent to a Master of Science. For more information on the 6 departments in which a student can major.

  •  For year one : only students with a high school diploma certified by the French Ministry of Education as being equivalent to a French high school diploma may be admitted.

  •  For year three :  this level is mainly for students from countries who have a similar educational structure as the one in France. Applicants must have finished 2 years of university studies in one of the scientific fields offered at the UTC.

  •  For year four : this level is mainly reserved for applicants with a Bachelor's degree.

Master of Science

For non-French-speaking students, masters are reserved for applicants having completed a bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in engineering, science or technology.
