About us

UTC was established in 1972 as an experimental university for technological engineering. The educational objective for UTC consists in training engineers and future managers for the nation's various economic sectors.

What are the main courses offered by UTC ?

UTC is an engineering institution that has more than 4000 students. It trains engineers, Master's and PhD students who benefit from the technological innovation taking place in UTC's research units.

Where does research stand in UTC's educational project ?

As in every university, providing education through research introduces knowledge that is in touch with the current scientific situation and technological innovation. Engineering courses are therefore on the cutting edge of innovative developments.

What relationships do you have with the economic world ?

UTC education and research can be referred to as technological. This means that it is at the crossroads of industrial research carried out by the economic sector and academic research. UTC remains at the forefront of innovation and in close relation with industrial realities by training its engineering students through internships, staying in contact with its alumni and developing research partnerships with industry.
