The UT network

UTC, UTBM (Belfort-Montbéliard) and UTT (Troyes) belong to the UT network and they have recently added a 4th university of technology in Shanghai, the UTSEUS and a fifth one in Chile, the EFCI.
Their missions are education, research and transfer of technology. This year’s students enrolment in France is 8300 and there have been more than 20 000 engineering graduates to date.

The UT network has :

UTC and ESCOM in a green chemistry synergy

One of UTC’s major stakes is to maintain the critical mass necessary to attract financial and human resources for future development. It is in this spirit that UTC and the ESCOM (Organic & Mineral Chemistry School) along with the Lasalle Polytechnic Institute of Beauvais have joined forces to create the first European Center for Environmental Chemistry.

One of their first important projects is the creation of a common Research and Development platform in Chemistry and Thermal Chemistry which falls into line with the national policy to promote the development of renewable resources. This partnership aims at combining in a coherent way each institution's skills and competencies to deal with issues related to the fields of environment, geosciences and bio-food.

The three institutions also contribute to the economic development of the Picardy Region.
