The Carnot Institute accompanies UTC’s research organization towards greater efficiency and improvement.
The Carnot Institute provides a favorable environment to accompany UTC’s research organization with its procedures for the tranfer of technology, while at the same time offering additional funding to support scientific research. Central to UTC policy has been its willingness to develop privileged links with reputed partners.
Being awarded the Carnot label, in association with UTT, crowns the UTC’s efforts in this direction, by conferring further recognition of its openness to the socio-economic world. Today UTC carries out technological research which is pledged to the requirements of mankind in the fields of innovation and competitiveness, through multi-disciplinary research work and laboratories gathering companies of all sizes. The Institute for Technology and Innovation in Companies, or TIE, groups together 16 research units and more than 500 faculty members of UTC and UTT.
