Les travaux de l’équipe de biomécanique et électrophysiologie musculaire portant sur le développement d’ergomètre pour tester le comportement musculaire, ont conduit en Juillet 2002, à la création, par deux thésards émanant de notre formation, d’une société, Bio2m, spécialisée dans la caractérisation des propriétés mécaniques du muscle.
Leurs clients sont, soit d’autres laboratoires de recherche, soit des industriels pour lesquels cette société effectue des prestations de service.

BioparHom
As part of the work on bioimpedance, a project has been awarded in 2004, at the national competition to support the creation of innovative technology companies.
The project, driven by a PhD student in our laboratory, concerns the development of an impedancemeter to assist medical staff and high-level athletes.
This project, BioparHom, entered into “incubation” at Grain (Grenoble Alpes Incubation) in March 2006. The company should be set up no later than March 2008 (www.bioparhom.com) and move to Savoie Technolac.
The company will aim to develop impedancemeters and services : profiling body composition of a population, studying of the effect of an event on body composition (therapy, athletic training, disease), and monitoring of an event (therapy, athletic training or illness). In addition, this young innovative company propose studies for other companies or agencies, as well as training.
