Workshop VIA 2004 (Virtual Concept)

 

Because of the new class of computers, and new software tools, it is now possible to work using virtual environments and virtual reality interfaces, not limited to the use of visual techniques.

The international conference Virtual Concept (http://www.virtualconcept.estia.fr) brings together experts in different areas of product design, manufacturing and maintenance. Virtual Concept provides an overview of new implementations, methodologies and systems based on Virtual Reality techniques and adjacent theories that are used to support industrial problem solving. Virtual Concept is an international conference that strongly regards topics that open a new way for supporting engineering in industry.

Via (Virtual reality for industrial applications) is an international workshop which takes places between the conferences to allow participants to discuss and to work on new projects related to this field. Time for demos and laboratories presentations will be widely provided. Both formal methods and concrete applications well fit in the workshop, whose program also includes invited talks, given by leaders in the field.
