Research activities
* Exploitation of microbial physiology data to improve or develop new
processes destined for bio-industries.
* Selection and culture of microbial strains in natural and/or
non-conventional conditions. Evaluation, optimization and possible
exploitation of their metabolic capacities.
* Development and optimisation of bioprocesses for the treatment of
contaminated air, soil and water

* microbial strain selection (bacterias, fungi, yeasts)
* microbial fermentations, at laboratory or pilot scale, in aerobiosis,
anaerobiosis, or anoxic conditions
* quantification of microbial activities
