Continuous Education schemes allow you to improve on your current qualifications throughout your life.

Engineering diploma

› As of September 2015, training for the Engineering Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and in Computer Science Applications will be organized on a sandwich basis. Unemployed job seekers will be allowed to access these training courses under what is called a Professionalization Contract.

Preparatory Cycle

  • Prerequisites: Bac+2 or equivalent or a higher education diploma + 3 years professional experience
  • Duration: 8 month part-time (classes are on Friday and Saturday morning or by remote communication systems (290 hours)
  • Deadline for application registration: June 15 or September 15
  • Date for admission notification (or refusal): mid-July or early October
  • Courses commence: end October
  • Courses end: en June
  • Cost: 2 450 €

Terminal cycle

  • Prerequisites: prep. class or equivalent or Bac +3 plus experience
  • Duration: 2 years, full-time (5 days a week - 2 445 hours) or 3 years part time (2.5 days/week) or in a sandwich training course for Computer Science and Applications and Mechanical Engineering (1 semester at UTC + 4 semesters in sandwich training (1 month/1 month)).
  • Deadline for application registration: June 15
  • Date for admission notification (or refusal): mid-July and mid-October
  • Courses commence: September and February
  • End of course level: Bac +5
  • Cost: 9 900 €

› depending on profiles, either full-time or part-time, possibility to modulate the total course duration (with possible reduction as a function of diplomas presented or personal experience and track-records).

French Master’s degree

  • Prerequisites:

› M1: Bac +3 or first degree (180 ECTS credit points) in a specialty that relates to the elective chosen, or Bac+2 and 5 years (minimum) professional experience
› M2: holder of M1 (Bac +4) or Bac +5 or first degree + 60 ECTS credit points, or a diploma deemed equivalent to 240 ECTS credit points that has a connexion with the elective chosen

  • Course duration:

› M1: 1 year (5 days/week) including 1 month placement -(600 hours)
› M2: 1 year (5 days/week) including 6 months placement (1 435 hours)

  • Deadline for application registration: end-May
  • Date for admission notification (or refusal): early June
  • Courses commence: mid-September
  • Courses end: mid-July
  • End of course level: Bac +5

› Direct admission to M2 depending on the personal experience and track-record and initial training. The M2 year can be organized on a sandwich training system in order to preserve professional skills in parallel.

The Professional Degree

› As of September 2015, the Professional Degree can be awarded under a Professionalization Contract

  • Prerequisites: BTS (brevet for qualified technicians) Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Control & Automation, Electro-engineering or other technology intensive sectors; DUT (University diploma in technology) Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Electric Engineering and industrial computer science applications. Mechanical and Production Engineering sciences; Licence 2 (second year of the French first degree) Science, Technology and Enginering Sciences.
  • Duration: 1 year (5 days /week (with 4809 hours classwork, seminar classes and lab. work + 120 hours on a tutor-supervised project + 15 weeks on a placement.
  • Deadline for application registration: early June
  • Date for admission notification (or refusal): early July
  • Courses commence: mid-September
  • Courses end: end June
  • End of course level: Bac +3
  • Professional openings: head of a technical maintenance team (or group), head of preventive maintenance services, new installations, ...
