10 UTC UNDERGRDAUATES ATTENDD THE EUROPEAN INNOVATION ACADEMY (EIA)

Ten UTC undergraduates, mostly registered for the Elite Entrepreneurial specialty at UTC, spent three weeks in Italy in the framework of the European Innovation Academy (EIA).

Coming from all over Europe, some 450 young students took part in teams in discovering and implementing all the aspects of creation of a start-up: management of multicultural origin teams, making business models, conducting a marketing campaign, design thinking, consumer analysis, project & product financing, prototyping …

At the end of the three weeks, 10 of the projects were selected and benefitted from further personalised coaching - two of the UTC students found themselves in this selection.

  • Kumpa, a new star-up founded by Maxime Robinet, undergraduate at UTC, Vincent Ledoux and Guillaume Pillon (UTC graduates in Computer Sciences and Applications (UTC-GI) was among 10 projects selected. Kumpa proposes that joggers/runners transform their physical training sessions into an immersed video game, using an « app » for smartphones.
