4 LAUREATES FOR THE GUY DENIELOU 2015 THESIS PRIZE

UTC’s annual Guy Deniélou Thesis Prize this year chose 4 laureates out of 6 finalists, the Jury being composed of external members of the Doctoral School’s Advisory Council. The criteria for the awards are: quality of the theses, level of participation, commitment to campus life and contribution of the candidates to dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge and know-how, ...

The laureates are:

Timothée Baudequin, whose thesis “Biological and mechanical characterization of a bio-hybrid bone substitute and development of scaffolds by electrospinning “ was carried out at the UTC-BMBI Lab.  He was awarded the  Prize of the  godfather: The Saint-Gobain Group.

Kevin Carpentier was awarded the Poster session prize for his thesis entitled “Dynamic, personalized scenario creation using in virtual environments for use in training situations”, carried out in the UTC- Heudiasyc Lab.

Yoann Fouquet, did his thesis “Optimisation methodology to dimension networks with variable capacity links” at the UTC-Heudiasyc Lab and was awarded the ARC Prize.

And last but not least Liang Xia was awarded the Regional Prize for her thesis “Towards Optimal Design of Multiscale Nonlinear Structures. Model reduction approaches”  carried out and presented at the UTC- Roberval Lab.
