SIGNATURE RENEWAL FOR THE LAFMIA*

UTC, the CNRS and the CINVESTAV ( Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional ) , Director Rogelio Lozano, research scientist working at UTC-Heudiasyc Lab. together signed an agreement, Nov. 9, 2017, renewing the contract for the LAFMIA, * the Franco-Mexican Laboratory for Computer Sciences, Automation & Control, a CNRS-UMI created in 2008 in Mexico City.

The research programme assigned to this UMI focuses on computer sciences, automation & control with a special emphasis given to robotics

The LAFMIA Lab. works mainly on drones, miniature submarines and exoskeleton devices, the latter used either to augment the strength of a limb, or to compensate for a patient’s motor deficiency.
