Expert FB modeling

This module helps the user to build-up a complete model of Fluidized Bed and to check its operating conditions. Grid pressure drop and configuration, bed expansion data and all other present options are checked by the "Virtual Expert" program and the results are displayed in a text box.

Note that a complete bed design needs at least some priliminary knowledge about different items composing the fluid bed (grid, bubbling, cyclone, etc.). This is why this module is advised to be used after a "step by step" design is performed (see next topic).

In general, one of the heaviest part of a modeling work is the preparation of data file and the choice of options. Unlike, any other modeling program, ERGUN program selects and loads only the necessary data corresponding to the user's options chosen. The selective data file gives a real facility to prepare data and to save time.

The "virtual Expert" advises the user on the choice of models, remind some basically well known rules to get reliable results and checks out the results obtained.
