Two actions will be developed in this set of themes:

1. Pulses Width Modulation Strategies

The development of new modulation strategies, started under the impulse of VILAIN Jean-Paul in the 1980's, was always a strong asset of the LEC, going upto transfers of patent licences and product design (audio amplifer with cutting together with the Company BOUYER).

Originally developed on single-phase applications, these techniques spread with the supply of three-phase systems. The constraints are unchanged, namely: to obtain a wave form of controlled quality, by minimizing the stress of the components and certain additional criteria (acoustic noise, disturbance of the continuous bus…).

2. Modeling of electrochemical devices adapted to the Electric Engineering.
