The UTC student curriculum includes numerous interactions with companies and encourages students to experiment with an engineering and professional attitude through multiple projects.

  • Long internships/placements

Real-life experience of what is expected of an engineer, manager, or a PhD in the performance of their duties.

In the engineering programme, students will complete between 12 and 14 months of internships/placements in external companies.

  • Educational projects

Group work on a subject assigned by a company, supervised by a UTC lecturer-cum-research scientist. During this project, exchanges with the company and its representatives are very beneficial to students and allow them to develop in a professional setting.

  • Student society involvement

Extracurricular involvement is strongly encouraged at UTC, which has nearly 120 student societies. Structured involvement in a society (as a board member, in finance, logistics, management, etc.) puts future graduates in the position expected of an engineer or professional.

These exchanges help students improve on their professional attitude.

  • Group information on expectations and professional attitude

Each semester, recruitment professionals lead HR lectures to inform students, give them advice, and enable them to keep up with developments in effective approaches used by recruiters and companies.

The Career and Professional Integration Service offers a comprehensive program each semester.
