European charter for researchers
In 2016, the European Commission, after examining UTC’s Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R), awarded UTC the "HR Excellence in Research" label.
UTC-ED is a strongly involved partner in various European and international networks and is supportive of any request to carry out a thesis-oriented placement outside France.
Registration of a student for PhD studies at UTC is only possible if the doctoral school is assured that the studies will be financed, whatever the source, for the duration of the thesis work.
International co-supervision of a doctoral (PhD) thesis implies that the work is followed and jointly by two co-supervisors in two different countries, thereby requiring a double matriculation by the students concerned.
An academic research certification (HDR) or accreditation, is a recognition of the high scientific level, their capacity to control and direct research strategies. UTC is empowered to deliver the HDR.
Created to highlight the quality of the technological research of the UTC teams, this prize has the ambition to show the original interdisciplinary character of the UTC doctoral school and the scientific excellence of its PhD students.
